Date: Thursday, October 6th Time: 7:30 PM Location(s): Zoom Speaker Location: ZOOM Videoconference Video: https://youtu.be/HuRlX28sU3Y Slides: n/a The Atlanta Radio Club is pleased to announce that the speaker at our October meeting will be Michael Burnette, AF7KB. The title of his talk is "The Fast Track to Understanding Ham Radio Antennas”.
This is an expanded version of the presentation Michael recently made at the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo. Here’s a synopsis provided by Eric. Speaker: Michael Burnette, AF7KB - The Fast Track to Understanding Ham Radio Antennas Michael Burnette, AF7KB, is the award-winning author of the bestselling Fast Track to Your Ham License series. He spent decades as a commercial broadcaster, and more decades leading seminars all over the world. His approach to ham education is to offer comprehensive training in the theory and technology of ham radio. His energetic, fast-paced, content-rich presentations are a consistent hit at hamfests across the country. Michael produces a series of educational videos called AF7KB Fast Track Ham Radio on Youtube. There are currently 19 videos in the series but he is working on others. They can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0TUltCJoV2ufJ4dSUY19jw/about He is also the author of several Fast Track Ham Radio books. He’s currently writing a new book based on this antenna presentation. HRO was going to sell them but backed out at the last minute. Here’s a link to the books on, dare I say, Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=michael+burnette CLUB BYLAWS
