Monthly Free ham exam at PDK
The Laurel VEC, in conjunction with the Atlanta Radio Club, offers FREE monthly license exams to all at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK). There is no fee for the exam. Details can be found here.
The google map will get you to the airport. When you get there turn onto Airport Road, go to the end of the street, next to the playground, and make a left. You will be in front of an L-shaped building with the Downwind Restaurant in the wing to your right. Go to the wing in front of you (door is under the EPPS sign) and take the stairs to the 2nd floor. It's Community Room #227.

The Georgia Tech Amateur Radio Club (GTARC), in conjunction with the Atlanta Radio Club, offers monthly license exams to all at the Van Leer Building on the Tech campus. You do not have to be affiliated with Georgia Tech to take the exam. The fee for the exam is $14.00. Details can be found here.
