Join the Atlanta Radio Club in support of N4P Hams for PanCAN at the PurpleStride Walk Saturday April 29th. We'll have a Special Event Station throughout the day to promote Pancreatic Cancer Awareness across the bands.
The goal of Hams for PanCAN is to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer through the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s (PanCAN) PurpleStride event, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.
More info regarding PurpleStride Atlanta 2023 click here
We also want to recognize ham radio hobbyists who we lost to pancreatic cancer from across the country or promote your success in beating cancer. Tells us your story.
Each of the N#P teams will provide QSL information along with any highlights of those patients who are fighting or have fought valiantly but lost the fight against pancreatic cancer. Each Region will participate with a N#P call as well as various supporting clubs in each city like Atlanta that has an event that day. Each N#P has its own QSL certificate or QSL card to acquire after making contact. More details for QSL with N4P can be found at https://www.qrz.com/db/N4P.
More precise details on how we will be setting up and our tent location will come as we get more park/event details. AHams for PanCAN t-shirt will be available to those who participate onsite. Email N3ACK with your plans to attend
