Time to Get Involved: Three events are coming to the Atlanta Radio Club this spring, and we need your help.

Georgia QSO Party: April 14-15 - In 2011 we were the only Georgia Club to make this a "Field Day" style outing, and we're at it again for 2012.  We plan on operating both days at Lucky Shoals Park in Tucker.  Contact Brian, WD4DX to get involved.

83rd Atlanta Hamfest: June 2 in Marietta.  Are you good with vendors?  Do you want to help with Talk-in?  How about putting together a seminar?  Contact John Talipsky to get involved

Field Day 2012: Back at Lucky Shoals for the second year, Field Day will include Pizza and a new band plan for stations.  Bill, KB4KFT is your contact to get involved.

About The Club

Celebrating 100 years as a club in March, the Atlanta Radio Club is one of the oldest and largest amateur radio clubs in the United States. With over 140 members, the club activities include meetings, operating events, training sessions, membership outings and community service activities in Metro-Atlanta.

The Atlanta Radio Club is best known for its sponsorship of the annual Atlanta HamFest, a yearly event which hosts many vendors, exhibitors, and flea marketers of amateur radio equipment and other electronic equipment, including computers.  In addition, though the club membership, we own or operate 11 repeaters around the metro area.

In an average month, the club will hold a regular membership meeting, a tech/training session or operating outing, publish the Atlanta Ham newsletter, have 8 lunch outings and host over 20 nets via club repeaters.

Membership

Membership is $22 a year and supports the ongoing club activities. We welcome new amateurs to the hobby, join within 90 days of your initial licence and get the current year free.  To renew or join, use the Membership link at the left.  We are glad to offer PayPal for membership transactions.
